Jammu’s Bunty-Babli on run!
- Both are on run and one of the accused is hiding in Kashmir and other is changing its location from Kathua to Sidhra.
- The police has raided the hideouts of both accused but both got success in dodging the police and hampering the investigation.
- SHO Gharota Joginder Chib observed that duo has ill intention in this regard and he approached the court to get their bail cancelled.

Jammu, Jan 05: The Station House Officer, Police Station, Gharota has approached the court to vacate the anticipatory bail granted to the two accused who have duped a person for lakhs of rupees as they pretended that both are owner of land but in fact they have nothing to do with the said land.
It is pertinent to mention that duo ‘Bunty & Bubli’ Shivinder Singh (Bunty) and Mohd Afzal (Babli) of Jammu was granted the anticipatory bail based on certain reason but there were some conditions that they have to cooperate with investigating agency so that the truth may be taken out. The SHO of Police Station Gharota has approached the court that duo is not cooperating with police according to court directions, which is hampering investigation. In the court both have assured that they will cooperate with police but in practical both have not done this. It was also one of the conditions that both will physical attend the police station everyday or as per decided by the concerned SHO to felicitate the IO but both only once attended the police station and after that both ignored the police calls and warnings.
The concerned SHO has given them ample opportunities for extending cooperation to police but both have ignore the police advisory. The concerned SHO has made every attempt that both may cooperate with police but it went worthless and only one option was left with police to approach the court and get the anticipatory bail cancelled and in the mission police got success and on December 30, 2022 the court has vacated the anticipatory bail granted to them as they do not deserve concession of bail in anticipation of arrest.
It is pertinent to mention that duo ‘Bunty & Babli’ (Shivinder Singh son of BS Bandrla resident of H. No. 916, KV Nagar, bantalab Jammu and Haji Mohd Afzal son of Haji Mohd Ibrahim resident of Hyderpora Janipur, Jammu), has been booked for cheating a businessman Rajesh Kumar, who has come in contact with them over purchasing of land measuring 21 kanals and 13 marlas. The duo has played a trick on a businessman Rajesh Kumar and cheated on him to fleece his money.
The duo ‘Bunty & Babli’ has falsely showed Rajesh Kumar the state land as their own land and convinced him to purchase the said land. The duo Bunty (Shivinder Singh) and Babli (Haji Mohd ASfzal) has won the trust of Rajesh Kumar and in turn Rajesh Kumar has paid an amount of Rs 70 lakh as advance money for the said land, which is a state land and no one can sell it.
The sell to agreement was entered in February 28, 2019 and till then duo Bunty & Babli started dilly delaying process to avoid them. The purchaser Rajesh Kumar waited long for to get the possession of the land but unfortunately he could not get the possession form the cheaters.
The businessman then approached the court and got the FIR registered in Amb Gharota Police Station under section 420, FIR No 121 dated 16-11-2022 against the Bunty & Babli namely Shivinder Singh and Haji Mohd Afzal.
