Police can put an end to theft cases!

Jammu, Sep 07: One Neelam daughter of Shukru Saiani resident of Quarter No. 60-D Railway West Colony has lodged a written complaint with Police Station Trikuta Nagar on 24/02/2022 regarding theft of some gold ornaments from her house.
Acting her report, the police has registered a case under FIR No. 058/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC and started the investigation into theft case. During investigation with the help of technical evidences and human resources, the police rounded up four suspects namely 1) Mehboob Akhter 2) Ayoub Ahmed both sons of Shamas Din residence of Kothi Chandyar, Bani at present Telli Basti Bari Brahmana, 3) Sahil Singh @ Billo @ Shotu son of Padam Singh @ Balram residence of Dhad Simni Poond Tehsil Basohli District Kathua at present Telli Basti Bari Brahmana and 4) Mohd Irshad @ Shadhu son of Mohd Saleem resident of Chowadi at present Telli Basti Bari Brahmana. During sustained questioning they confessed their involvement in said case and on their disclosure stolen gold ornaments were recovered and during further course of investigation they also confessed that they are also committed theft in the J/D of this P/S for which Case Fir No. 203/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC, Fir No. 192/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC, Fir No. 132/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC and Fir No. 63/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC of P/S Bahu Fort have already registered. Moreover they have also confessed that they have committed thefts at Gadigarh under the J/D of P/S Satwari, Sidhra under the J/D of P/S Nagrota. Gujjar Colony Under the J/D of P/S Channi Himmat and in the J/D of P/S Katra. Further different teams have been constituted under the supervision of *SDPO City East Jammu Zaheer Abbas Jafri and headed by SHO P/S Bahu Fort Insp. Nayat Ali and assisted by PSI Balbir Singh, PSI Adarsh Kant, PSI Sunil Singh, ASI Mohd Sadiq, Sgct Sudesh Raj and Ct Kamal Mustafa.* They had raided at different locations and recovered 800 gms of stolen gold ornaments and further investigation is going on and more arrest/recovery is expected.
Moreover, 30 misplaced mobile phones also traced by Jammu Police (SP South Office Jammu). The whole operation is done under the supervision of SP City South Jammu Mamta Sharma and overall supervision of Chandan Kohli IPS SSP Jammu. The general public of the area appreciated Police for this Commendable Job.
The stolen gold ornaments recovered by P/S Bahu fort included – Bangles =16 No; Tikka/Forehead Jewellery = 03 No; Necklace = 06 No; Nose ring (Nath) = 05 No; Mangal Suttra Set = 08 No; Topas = 06 Set; Ring = 20 No; Ear Ring = 26 Set; Chain = 04 No; and Jhumka = 08 Set. The total weight of gold ornaments recovered is 800 grams worth Rs 50000 as per the market value.
