Janipur police nab drug peddler, 55 gm toxic substance recovered

Jammu, Jun 13: The police party of Police Station Janipur under the supervision of its SHO was on patrolling and frisking the people. The police party during patrolling/frisking checking duty at near Sai Baba Mandir Lower Roop Nagar came across a suspicious person, who started running on seeing the police party.
The said person was coming from Suraksha Vihar Paloura towards Muthi, which has created ample suspicion that he was involved any sort of crime. The police party guessed that the person is a mysterious and so the police chased him and overpowered the said person. But during questioning the person, he disclosed his name as Raj Mohammed son of Lt Mohd Shafi resident of Beli Charana, jammu, During his personal search 55 gm heroin like substance has recovered from the possession of him. On this a case FIR No. 64/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has got registered at this P/S and investigation of the case is going on.
