Jammu, Dec 15: A police team from Police Station Janipur today arrested two drug-peddlers, when they are roaming under mysterious circumstances to trade the heroin like substances.
The police team under the direct supervision of SHO Janipur Ajaz Haider nabbed the two drug-peddlers namely Arun Sharma son of Khem Raj Sharma resident of Janipur Colony and Ankaj Kumar son of Om Parkash resident of Janipur Colony and recovered 17 grams heroin like substance from their possession. It is being believed that duo were looking for an opportunity to trade the heroin in the locality but the vigilant police team nabbed the duo near Matador Stand Janipur Colony, Jammu. Both have been booked and a case under FIR No. 128/2021 and under sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act got registered at PS Janipur and the investigation has started.
