After joining Ashok Chakarvorty as tehsildar Bhalwla the things have rto move on right directions and the issue of illegal entries has come on surface and people took a sigh of relief. Prior to his the land mafia were having say on the office of tehsildar.
After acquiring the complete knowledge about the area the sitting Tehsildar has issued an order with a subject. “Prevention and removal of encroachment on Government land.” In his order TB/OQ/2021-22/392-397 dated 13-12-2021, the Tehsildar Bhalwal has bounded the Naib Tehsildars Bhalwal, Gharota, Agore and Mathwar to ensure that there would be no fresh encroachment/construction etc or whatsoever kind shall occur on government land in their respective jurisdiction. In case it occurs and the same is no reported within time, concerned Revenue Officers/Officials shall be taken to task. In second para of his order, the Tehsidar Bhalwal mentioned that the Naib Tehsildar shall verify the record personally and ensure expunging of all illegal entries over the state land made in sheer violation of the standing instructions/rules and shall take over possession of the state land encroached upon.
This order has substantiated the reporting and stories published in Jammu Jottings since reporting the issue but on December 13, 2021 the order of Tehsildar Bhalwal has accepted that there was no cancellation of illegal entries by the red pen were made in the Tehsil Bhalwal and now the cancellation work has started and within week it would be done.
