Rajouri, Nov 24: On Wednesday Government Degree College Darhal organised a poetry recitation completion on the theme Quami Ekta in which a large number of students
presented their patriotic and nationalistic thinking with full enthusiasm in the form of poems.
Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia, Principal congratulated the students of the college for their participation in the competition and said: “Quami Ekta is the hallmark of the growth and development of a country like India”.
“A country with different religions and languages is doing wonders because of the unity and integrity of all the Indians. Every citizen of India is striving hard for taking this country to great heights” said Principal.
We all are united and we will remain united and different religions, languages and culture is actually the essence of this matchless unity and strength, he added.
Prof Sumanesh motivated the students to always work for the unity and integrity of the country which will be the richest tribute to all the freedom fighters of this motherland.
Dr.Ahsan Ul Rehman Rizvi, HoD Arabic said: “The students of the college are participating in all the events organized by the college and this is resulting in better development of their personalities”.
Dr. Imtiaz Hussain Shah, HoD Urdu also quoted a few lines in honour of Quami Ekta. Dr.Ather Aziz Raina, HoD Mathematics motivated the students to always take part in such programs.
“The students of the college are learning a lot and which is a good sign for the better academic growth of the institution,” Dr. Ather said.
The proceedings of the program were conducted by Dr.Riaz HoD Persian.
Shariq Ali, Mohd Arif, and Hasim Ahmed got 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively while NaziaTabasum and Tabasum Naz got consolation prizes.
Dr.Asif, Ms.Mahwish, Dr.Javed Ahmed Mir, and Ms. Farzana were the Jury Members.
Others present on the occasion were Abdul Qayoom, Jameel Ahmed, Safeer, Avez, and Saddam.
