Development funds or Personal Money

Jammu, Nov 15: Many members of Jammu Municipal Corporation are utilizing the public funds as their own money. Whatever development activity is being initiated is confined to their residential area. Some are so particular that the whole money is being incurred around their house. A member of JMC residing in Laxmipuram is an example of this partial and personal development. The work of covering the drains at a specific distance with iron nets has been carried out only at her residence and about few yards around her house. Is this the development being claimed by the government where common man is ignored and public money is being utilized for personal development by these so called ‘Public Representatives’?
