Rajouri, Nov 2: On Tuesday five Border Security Force personnel were found Covid positive in Rajouri district & were isolated in the BSF hospitals. All the five were asymptomatic & have traveled to Rajouri from various States
Enforcement Teams (ETs) also fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Monday & Tuesday and have recovered a fine of Rs 45,280 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 60,14,114.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Cente
Out of 1679 reports received on Tuesday, five cases were detected positive in the Rajouri district and all the five are travelers and posted with Border Security Force and have taken both the doses of vaccine.
With five more cases now there are 10 active cases in the district, while no patient was recovered today.
Out of ten active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, six in the Army /BSF hospitals while two are in home isolation.
As per daily bulletin issued by the health department on Tuesday as many as 2706 people above 18 years of age were administered first (148) and second (2558) Covid vaccine doses across the district.
During the first & second waves 5,99,669 tests, including RAT (4,51,551) and RT-PCR (1,48,118), have been conducted till Tuesday in the district & among them, 11278 were tested positive out of which 11031 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
As per the media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4,29,027 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7405 were tested active.
