Poonch, Dec 8: Poonch Police on Monday attached 06 Kanal 03 Marlas of land belonging to Nazir Hussain, son of Faqeer Mohammad, a resident of Saloonian, Mandi, who had illegally crossed into Pakistan in 2003.
An FIR No. 02/2003 was registered after his disappearance. As the accused remained absconding for over two decades, the Hon’ble Court Poonch ordered attachment of his property under Sections 87 & 88 CrPC.
Police teams executed the court order on the ground by serving notices, marking the land, and formally attaching it in the presence of locals.
District Police Poonch said the action is a clear warning against illegal cross-border movement and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and security.
