Show-Cause Notice Issued to 3 Absentee Teachers in Rajouri

Rajouri, Dec 7: On the directions of CEO Rajouri, Mohammad Hafiz Sheikh, the ZEO Rajouri conducted a surprise inspection on Saturday at the Primary School located in Ward No. 4 of Rajouri town to assess staff regularity, punctuality, and the implementation of the PM Poshan scheme.
During the inspection, it was found that out of the total sanctioned staff of five members, only one teacher, Naziah Akhtar, was present on duty, while another teacher, Shagufta Dar, was on sanctioned leave.
However, three other teachers – Meenakshi Sharma, Uzma Naz, and Sheetal Meani – were found absent from duty without any prior permission or information.
According to the ZEO, such unauthorized absence severely affects the functioning of the school and amounts to a serious lapse in professional conduct.
Taking strong note of this negligence, the ZEO has directed the absent teachers to submit a written explanation for their unauthorized absence by Monday, December 8, 2025, or earlier, at the ZEO office.
Failure to submit the explanation within the stipulated time will be deemed as having no justification for their absence, and disciplinary action will be initiated as per the applicable rules.
