Rajouri, March 26: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Dr. M.L. Rana, has initiated an inquiry through a three-member committee after an Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) sub-center was found locked at 10 AM and again at 3 PM on March 25, as seen in a viral video on a social media news portal.
The AAM sub-center is located near the Line of Control (LoC) at Nika Panjgrain under the Manjakote Health Block.
In his order, the CMO noted that this institution has been found closed during multiple inspections, yet no improvement has been observed. To verify the facts and ensure accountability, a three-member inquiry committee has been formed, consisting of Dr. Meena Kumari (BMO Sunderbani), Dr. Nazmeen Akhter (MO, Mobile Eye Unit), and Waseem Ul Hassan Shawl (Senior Assistant). The committee has been directed to submit its report with findings and recommendations as soon as possible.

The CMO’s order stated: “It has come to the attention of the undersigned through a report on a social media news portal that AAM, Block Manjakote, was found closed on March 25, 2025, with the institution locked. Despite multiple inspections, no improvement has been observed.”
