Illegal mining is big menace!

• The vigilant DMO Jammu is instrumental in arresting the illegal mining in Jammu and he always remains on ground.

Jammu, Apr 9: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PS Gharota, PP Chatha, PP Phallain Mandal, PP Pargwal and BPP Gajansoo acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective areas and seized 08 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The District Mining Officer Jammu is a person who remains in touch with the ground and eager to pounce on the palces or vehicles where illegal mining goes on. In this connection police has seized the vehicles including – One Tractor Trolley without Registration No seized by PS Nagrota; one Dumper bearing Registration No JK02CU-7223 seized by PS Gharota; 02 vehicles i.e one tractor trolley bearing Chassis No. MBNGAALUPLRH02260 and one tractor trolley bearing Chasis No RKBB06686 seized by PP Chatha; two Tractor Trollies bearing Chassis No’s MBNGAALFZNRA00205 and MBNAAAL2BLJD00642 seized by PP Phallian Mandal; one tractor trolley bearing Registration No JK02CV3606 seized by PP Pargwal; and one tractor trolley bearing Registration No JK02CC6689 seized by BPP Gajansoo.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspector Vishav Partap Singh, SHO PS Gharota Inspector Joginder Singh Chib, I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, I/C PP Pargwal PSI Deep Kumar and I/C BPP Gajansoo ASI Ravinder Bhushan in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also remained in touch with them at every step.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
