Manjakote, Feb 28: District police rajouri on tuesday organized a Kabadi tournament at Government Higher Secondary School, Dehri Ralyote in Manjakote tehsil of Rajouri district.
The kabaddi tournament has been organized by District police Rajouri under civic Action programme with an Aim to divert the youth from drugs. Principal of the school Qayoom shah was the chief guest on the occasion while Dysp manjakote, Zafar Rather as Guest of Honour.
Deputy Superintendent of police (Dysp) Zafar Rather while Adressing youth said that the objective of tournament is to harnessing the talent of youth in sports activities, he stressed youth to participate Actively in sports activities for a healthy and prosperious life. He further advised them to keep themselves away from drug and other social evils.
Locals expressed their gratitude towards jammu kashmir police for organizing such sports activities in their areas. they said It is a very welcome step by police to keep the youth away from drugs as It will make the youth nasha mukt and will make nasha mukt bharat.
