Jammu Administration retrieves 130 kanal prime state land

Jammu, Feb 3: The Jammu administration under the strict directions of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avmi Lavasa IAS has retrieved 130 prime land in different places of Jammu district and the revenue officers have taken the job effectively.
It is pertinent to mention in some of places the revenue officials have faced tough situation but they dared the situation and got land evicted from the land grabbers.
In continuation to anti-encroachment drive, the District Administration Jammu today retrieved prime state land measuring 5 kanal 02 marla at village Deeli during an eviction cum demolition drive.
The state land was encroached by a prominent media house and businessman which was retrieved by the administration. The boundary walls of the encroached land were demolished and state land board was also installed on the site.
In another anti encroachment drive, the district administration retrieved state land measuring 100 kanal at village Palwan, Akhnoor.
Similarly, revenue officers along with police and other concerned officials retrieved prime state land measuring 23 kanal 13 marla in village Partap Singh Pura Tehsil Bishnah. State land board was also installed on the retrieved land during the eviction drive.
