Violators have no excuse!

Jammu, Nov 15: Keeping in view the steep hike in road accidents in J&K, the Akhnoor Police has intensified its drive against drivers responsible in over speeding, overloading and rash driving believed to be major causes behind the mishaps.
The SHO Akhnoor Harjeet Singh along with his police party laid a special traffic naka at Pannu Chowk Akhnoor. During checking, a Matador bearing registration No JK02AQ 9693 was intercepted and was found overloaded. Not only this, the driver of the said vehicle was driving rashly and in a negligent manner which may endanger human life. .
In this regard a case FIR No. 314/22 U/S 279/336/IPC and 194-A/ MVA was registered against driver namely Pardeep Kumar S/O Sarwan Kumar R/O Narayana Tehsil Khour.
SHO Akhnoor Harjeet Singh has made an appeal to all the drivers especially of passenger vehicles plying in the different routes across Akhnoor to strictly obey the traffic rules and any violation in this regard will be viewed very seriously. The similar type of drive against the traffic norms violators will be intensified in the coming days.
