More than 7.50 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the district.till Friday

Rajouri, Nov 5: According to State Media Bulletin on Covid-19, 5035 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours in the Rajouri district, thus bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the district to 7,60,416.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Teams (ETs) fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Friday and have recovered a fine of Rs 18,600 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 60, 61,164.

The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.

One new Symptomatic positive case of novel Coronavirus has been reported in Rajouri district out of 759 reports received on Friday, thus taking the total number of positive cases in the district to ten.

Out of 759 reports received on Friday, a patient was detected positive in the district, while two patients have recovered today.

Out of ten active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, seven in the Army /BSF hospitals while one is in home isolation.

As per the daily bulletin issued by the health department on Friday as many as 5035 people above 18 years of age were administered first (116  and second (4919) Covid vaccine doses across the district.

During the first & second waves 6,03,561 tests, including RAT (4,54,734) and RT-PCR (1,48,827), have been conducted till Friday in the district & among them, 11281 were tested positive out of which 11034 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.

As per the media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4,31,635 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7408 were tested active.
