Three positive case found, ETs collected fine of Rs 41150 from violators

Rajouri, Oct 22: Out of 1791 reports received on Friday, three cases were found Covid positive in the Rajouri district.

Enforcement Teams (ETs)  also fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs today & have recovered a fine of Rs 41150 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs57,29,617.

The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.

At present, there are 7 active cases in the district, while no patient was recovered today.

There is no Covid patient under treatment in GMC Rajouri at present, however, out of seven active cases;  two are admitted in Army/BSF hospitals and two in SKIMS at Srinagar and three are the home isolation..

On Friday, as many as 1766 persons above 18 years of age were administered first (19) and second (1669) Covid vaccine doses across the district.

During the first & second waves 587,765 tests, including RAT (4,42,241) and RT-PCR (1,45,524), have been conducted in the district till Friday out of which 11268 were tested positive out of which 11024 recovered while 237 have died.

As per the District media bulletin during the second wave of Covid-19, 4,15,839 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7395 tested active and among them, 182 have died.
