1 Dead, 6 Others Missing As Cab Plunges Into Chenab: Rescue Operation Start

Jammu, May 19: A 21-year-old male from Uttar Pradesh died while two were injured and six others are still missing after a passenger cab plunged into river Chenab near Dougipouli Karol area of Chanderkot in Ramban district on today morning.

Soon after the news spread, a rescue team comprising of J&K Police, Civil Quick Reaction Team, Indian Army swung into action and was able to retrieve three of the passengers from Chenab one of whom had died on the spot.

However, now deep army divers had launched rescue operation.
