Signature Campaign at Fatima Convent High School Jammu

Continuing the “Drug-Free Jammu & Kashmir” campaign, a signature drive was organized on Saturday at Fatima Convent High School in Bishnah. Students, along with the school Principal Fr Tigga and the teaching staff, participated in the event. A team from the Bishnah Police, including SI Rinku Sharma, was also present to take part in the program. The event was organized by senior journalist Govind Chouhan, who has been visiting schools daily to collect signatures from students as part of the campaign initiated by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Through these visits, school students are being sensitized about the objectives of this campaign.
Speaking during the program, Govind Chouhan remarked that just as we clean and maintain our homes to ensure they look beautiful, there is a similar need to beautify our society. He noted that children, too, can contribute to this cause at their own level. He urged the students to sign the pledge, vowing to stay away from drugs so that the region and the country can progress towards development.
