Jammu, November 15, 2025: In a swift and decisive action, a team from Police Post Sarwal, led by IC PP Sarwal SI Sunil Singh, apprehended four accused persons, including Rajeev Tikoo, who were allegedly roaming in the area carrying sharp-edged weapons.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the police team immediately launched an operation and caught the suspects red-handed, recovering the weapons from their possession. All four are wanted in connection with FIR No. 148/2025 under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
The accused have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to ascertain their motives and possible involvement in other incidents.
The prompt response of the police is being widely appreciated by residents, who believe that the timely action averted a potential mishap in the locality.
