Rajouri, April 12: Amid heightened prevalent tension along Line of Control, including the martyrdom of JCO Kuldeep Chand in Keri-Batal area in Sunderbani on Friday night, GOC White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, and GOC Ace of Spades Division Rajouri, Major General Kaushik Mukherjee, visited the forward posts located in Nowshera, Bhimber Gali (BG-in Rajouri) and Krishna Ghati (KG-in Poonch)) sectors on Saturday.
They interacted with the troops and appreciated their high morale and round-the-clock vigilance.
The officers urged the soldiers to continue working with the same dedication and enthusiasm to maintain a stable security environment. During the visit, they were briefed on the anti-terror operations and the strategies in place to prevent infiltration attempts.
They also reviewed the operational preparedness. Lieutenant General Mishra lauded the troops for strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while tackling challenges posed by hostile elements.
The commanders also praised the deployed personnel for their high morale and vigilance, encouraging them to continue performing their duties with zeal and commitment despite challenging weather conditions.
They directed the troops to enhance vigilance, keep a close watch on any activity across the LoC, and thwart any infiltration attempts. Instructions were also given to respond firmly and effectively to any hostile actions from the adversary.
