GDC Jourian organised Awareness Programme on Women’s Rights

Jourian April 7 : On 7th of April, 2025 Govt. Degree College ,Jourian under the able guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Anuradha Pandoh hosted enlightening and thought provoking discussion on women’s rights, marking a significant moment in the academic calendar.
The event , titled “Awareness Programme on Women’s Rights” aim to raise awareness about the ongoing challenges women face world wide and the critical importance of continuing fight for equality.
The pannel discussion was led by Prof. Kiran Bala in which number of college students actively participated and covered a wide range of topics such as women’s access to education, reproductive rights, workplace equality and the global movement to combat gender based violence.
Head of Department ,Dogri, GDC Jourian, Dr. Suresh Sharma graced the occassion by his presence and enlightened the young minds to come forward and work together to create a world where they have the opportunity to thrive.
The event concluded with a pledge to fight for gender equality and their rights.
