Haridwar, Dec 10: Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narsinghanand Giri Maharaj, the disciple of Yati Ramswaroopanand Giri, has extended his unequivocal support to Justice Shekhar Yadav for his remarks made during a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) event. In a strong statement, he endorsed Justice Yadav’s boldness in addressing sensitive issues and cautioned against any potential action against him.
Yati Ramswaroopanand Giri emphasized that Justice Yadav’s used a specific word to describe certain extremist elements was, in fact, a mild expression. “If there were a more severe word than this, it should be used to describe those extremists responsible for atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. Millions of Hindu women have been victims of genocide, gang rapes, and temple desecrations there. Such crimes have even trickled into parts of India,” he said.
The Mahamandaleshwar further pointed out the rampant persecution of Hindu saints and monks in Bangladesh. He asserted, “If speaking the truth is a crime, then what about the atrocities committed by extremists against minorities in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Pakistan, and Bangladesh? These acts of violence and genocide are known worldwide. How is Justice Yadav wrong for stating the truth after witnessing the horrors faced by Hindus in Bangladesh?”
Yati Narsinghanand Giri warned against any punitive action being taken against Justice Shekhar Yadav. He declared that if such steps are initiated, the disciples of Yati Ramswaroopanand would be compelled to launch a massive agitation in his defense.
“For the first time, a judge has had the courage to speak the truth. If anyone attempts to silence Justice Shekhar Yadav for his honest words, we will mobilize and stand firmly by him,” the Mahamandaleshwar stated emphatically.
