Rajouri, August 13: Battling hostile terrains, harsh weather, hostile enemy, and focusing on operational readiness, etc, are the toughest tasks facing the Indian soldiers while guarding the nation at the Line of Control (LoC) to hold the peace.
While battling unfavourable conditions and the enemy, our soldiers ensure peace and safety within the country’s boundaries.
Ahead of Independence Day-2023 celebrations, the Indian Army facilitated a visit of media personnel to witness the poignant display of courage and commitment which a soldier has during the course of performing his duties at the LoC in Poonch district.
In the rugged terrain of the Poonch district, a symphony of courage, dedication, and sacrifice resonated as the Indian Army orchestrated an enlightening event on day to day activities of a Soldier on LoC.
This event provided a rare window into the lives of soldiers who stand guard along the Line of Control (LoC), showcasing their unwavering commitment amidst the challenges of a counter-insurgency environment.
With the picturesque Pir Panjal Region as the backdrop soldiers were witnessed operating in some of the nation’s most remote and demanding corners.
The event aimed to depict the realities of soldiers’ lives, where adherence to the body clock takes a backseat and dedication to duty remains constant, irrespective of time or weather.
The soldiers’ days unfold in the midst of unforgiving terrains and unpredictable weather conditions of Poonch but soldiers resolve to defend the nation stands more vigorous than ever.
