Cow-dung can create several items including paint, plaster, bricks, tiles, paper says Raghvjibhai

Jammu/Gujarat, Jun 30: The Minister for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries, Rural Housing & Rural Development Government of Gujarat Mr Raghvjibhai Patel accompanied by Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, former Minister of Education of Gujarat was the chief guest on the last concluding day and the programme was attended by various dignities, business tycoon, social activist, political activists, saints and other personalities of different fields.
Dr Vallabhbhai Katharia remained ever present in the five-day programme and lauded with appreciation from one and all. He was the man to engineer such a big even related to cow business, which is the first of its kind in the history of world.
While addressing the gathering on concluding day, Mr Patel said that various government schemes are in place from cottage industry to medium and large scale production capacity plants. He further added that Cow-dung can provide a large market for dung paint, plaster, bricks, tiles, paper and Gau Kastha as a substitute for cremation wood. Biofuels like biogas, CNG, CO2, hydrogen are being produced from dung, cow urine and supplied to factories.
Mentioning about the government support in the process he said that Government’s buyback plan is also in effect. He explained “Cow Hostels” have been started on a large scale by NGOs or cooperatives, to support the concept of ‘a cow in every house’ and earning through professional services. There are lot of opportunities for large-scale machinery manufacturing units for cow-based industries.
He further said that Panchagavya derived from cow based products is the best Ayurvedic medicine and Cow is a moving pharmacy. We can achieve new heights in Ayurveda by connecting all the Ministries with the development of the Ayurveda sector. Various ayurvedic pharma companies are requested to come forward for manufacturing veterinary ayurvedic medicine for animals. The current “Natural Farming” campaign will be accelerated by this EXPO. The expo will help farmers getting richer and society becoming healthier.
The Police Commissioner Raju Bhargav was also felicitated for the people-friendly services and also for taking prompt action whenever required.
Pt RC Sharma (Journalist, RTI & Peace Activist) and a renowned cow-devotee represented the Jammu & Kashmir in this event and the management has also felicitated, whereas Ms Surya Kala from Telangana was also present on the occasion.
The senior journalist of the Rajkot Praksh Solanki was also felicitated for his hard work to make the event successful.
Several social, religious, political business personalities were felicitated for doing best job in their fields and it was being hoped that they will continue in future too with same spirit.
