Jammu, Sep 14: (UNI) A constable in Jammu and Kashmir Police died of suspected cardiac arrest at his residence in Akhnoor sector here, police said on Wednesday.
Constable Dheeraj Pagotra, posted in Reasi, died of suspected cardiac arrest at his home in Mattu village in Khour.
“He was not well and undergoing treatment. He died of suspected heart failure,” the police added.
The deceased was a younger brother of a police constable whose house was raided and he was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday in connection with the Sub Inspector recruitment scam.
