Rajouri, Sept 13: Inter Block district level tournament in the discipline of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball under YSS Cup for boys is underway at ‘mini sports stadium’ Rajouri.
On Tuesday the Volleyball matches were inaugurated by Sunil Singh Sambyal, District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Rajouri who was also the Chief Guest.
Those present on the occasion include Manjakot Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZEPO) Gulzar Ahmed ; ZEPO, Doongi Talib Hussain; in-charge ZEPO, Rajouri, Surinder Singh and officials & officers of Youth Services and Sports Department Rajouri.
Sunil Singh Samyal, DYSSO advised the participants to regularly take part in physical activities for their good health and develop in them good moral values also
“Games and sports make a man an ideal citizen and an idol for others also,” said DYSSO.
Sahil Raina, in-charge of press & publicity, DYSSO informed that 19 Blocks of the District are participating in the ongoing tournament.
Today’s Volleyball match was played between Block Doongi and Block Darhal and Doongi emerged as the winner.
116 participants are taking part in the Volleyball completion.
