Army foils two infiltration bids in Nowshera within 48 hours, 2 killed one captured

Rajouri, August 24: In front of a galaxy of media cameras the captured terrorist Tabarak Hussain; a resident of Sabzkot village in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK); has admitted that Pakistan (a message to the international community) is still engaged in aiding and abetting terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir.
While admitting that he was sent for an attack (fidayeen) on the Indian Army post along with a group of five terrorists, Tabarak said: “A Colonel of Pakistan Intelligence Agency namely Col Yunus Chaudhry had paid him 30,000 Pakistani Rupees for the task”.
But before the terrorist group could intrude deep into this side of LoC, the Indian Army challenged them and in the brief firefight, Tabarak got injured and was captured by the Indian Army.
Tabarak is presently under treatment in the 150 GH hospital (Army) at Rajouri and was produced before the reporters for live interaction.
Earlier, while briefing the reporters Brig Kapil Rana, Commander Nowshera Brigade informed that Indian troops deployed along the LoC in Nowshera sector have foiled two major infiltration bids and have killed two terrorists and one was captured.
“On August 21 morning alert troops challenged a group of 2-3 terrorists that had sneaked to this side of LoC and were challenged. One among them came near to the Indian post and was found cutting the fence” said Brig Kapil Rana.
He added, on being challenged the terrorist tried to flee, but was brought down by the effective fire and was later captured by the Indian troops. However, the remaining terrorists fled from the spot, taking cover of dense jungle and broken ground.
The injured terrorist was provided with immediate medical aid & life-saving surgery was carried out.
Tabarak also revealed that he along with other terrorists had carried 2-3close recces of the Indian forward posts with an aim to target them at an opportune time & the go-ahead to target the Indian post was given by Col Yunus Chaudhry on 21 Aug 2022.
Indian Army is known for its humane face and according to reports, the Indian soldiers have provided blood for the surgery of injured Tabarak which can never be expected from the Pakistan soldiers.
At the time when lying wounded Tabarak was shouting: “Main marne ke liye aaya tha, mujhe dhoka de diya Bhaijaan mujhe yahan se nikalo”. (I came to kill, I was betrayed. Brother take me out of here).
Brig Kapil Rana added that In the second operation, on the night of August 22 & 23 another group of 2-3 terrorists tried to infiltrate in the Lam area in Naushera(J&K).
“Our alert troops were able to observe the terrorist’s movement after they crossed the LoC. As terrorists moved ahead into our minefields, some mines got activated and two terrorists got eliminated on the spot” said Brig Kapil.
The third terrorist possibly injured may be hiding in the area or might have retrieved taking advantage of inclement weather and dense foliage.
A quadcopter was flown over the area in the morning on August 23 and the bodies of the two terrorists were observed.
A deliberate operation was launched through the heavily mined area and the bodies of the two terrorists were recovered along with one AK-56, three 3 magazines, and a large quantity of ammunition & war-like stores.
“Search operation is being carried out carefully and is still in progress. More recoveries in the area are expected. Our alert troops deplyoed along LoC in the area remain alert to defeat any nefarious designs of the adversary,” said Brig Kapil Rana.
in the month of April, 2016 Tabarak Hussain and his brother Haroon Ali were apprehended by the Jhangar Battalion when were launched with a group of 3 terrorists (Mohd Kafil, Mohd Ali & Yasin) to plant IED on the Indian Army’s patrol track.
Tabarak was cultivated by Pakistan Army’s ISI and worked for their intelligence unit and was trained to acquire enemies information.
He was also trained to establish cover story in case he was ever apprehended and also got training as a guide in Let Training camp near LoC in Bhimber(POK).
After completing 26 months prison sentence in India, both were repatriated via Bagha -Attari border.
On December 16, 2019 Tabarak’s younger brother Mohd Sayeed was also apprehended in the same area.
No objectionable material was recovered from his possession, however, Sayeed was booked under 2/3 EMICO
