Forest division Batote retrieved encroached land

Jammu, Aug 18: The Forest Division Batote constituted a team to carry an eviction drive so that anyone who have encroached the forest land may be retrieved from the possession of encroachers.
In this concern a well planned eviction drive carried out in Dhalwas Beat of Sanasar Block in Compartment 22b/Btt located along National Highway-44 at Nashri by a team of Forest officers/officials constituted for the purpose. The team was headed by Vijay Khosla, Range Officer Batote, besides accompanied with Raj Kumar Sharma, Block Officer Sanasar, along with front line staff. The team constituted to demolish the illegal structure was raised by one namely Krishan Singh in contravention of Indian Forest Act, 1927.
It is pertinent to mention that the team has retrieved 10 Marlas of Reserved Forest land from the illegal possession which was being encroached by the said person. The entire operation has been carried under close supervision Kuldeep Singh, Divisional Forest Officer Batote and overall supervision of Jatindera Kumar Singh IFS Conservator of Forests Chenab Circle Doda.
