Jammu, May 05: Who is responsible for collapsing of protection wall of Government Middle School Khadwani, Akhnoor? What type of material was used by the contractor Tarsem for constructing the protection wall? Will government book the contractor for the collapse of protection wall that too within a period of 5 months? What is role of VLW in this episode? What is the role of JE in this episode? Has the concerned BDO played his role well or only he was killing his time? These are very serious concerns which should be raised on proper forum to get a solution.
The protection wall of Government Middle School, Khadwani Panchayt Sumah was constructed by a contractor Tarsem three months earlier but the same has been washed away with the rain water of 30 minutes rain that only 10 %. The protection wall was sanctioned by Rural Development Department under PRI CAPEX with a cost of one lakh but it is much surprising that the wall in question has collapsed within a period of three months, for which government must book the persons responsible including JE and VLW.
While talking with me the VLW Suresh Singh said that he is on training and he would frame a report and submit to SDM for necessary action.
The JE Basant raj told that due to rain the protection was has been collapsed but he forgot that the rain was negligible so there is no excuse for it. The JE told that during construction period he has only paid four visits to the spot.
