Sunderbani, Apr 27: Some miscreants only to defame the sitting Block Medical Officer Dr Sat Pal Pangotra have burnt the national flag at late evening, which was hoisted at the building of Sub District Hospital Nowshera but there are also reports that some anti national elements was behind the burning of national flag.
The allegedly reports said that some miscreants were having some issues with the Block Medical officer Nowshera Dr Sat Pal Pangotra and that has taken an ugly shape of burning of national flag, which is the biggest crime and it warrants the imprisonment of one year. This is the act of Flag desecration is the desecration of a flag, violation of flag protocol, or various acts that intentionally destroy, damage, or mutilate a flag in public.
The miscreants who were two to four in number has burnt the national flag in the late evening by taking the advantage of darkness, so that their identities could be hidden and they could not be booked.
According to official reports some people saw burning fire on the top roof of building of Sub Division Hospital (SDH) Nowshera.
Whereas, people reached on the spot and saw burning of national flag which was hoisted by BMO Nowshera on top of hospital’s building. The matter of desecration of national flag has been immediately reported to the concerned Police Station Nowshera, whereas, the concerned police has swiftly came in action and reached on the spot besides took the half burnt national flag in their custody and registered the case.
People raised slogans against block medical officer (BMO) Nowshera for his negligence. The report said the local people having some confrontation with BMO over the closing of a small gate which was leading to market. Whereas, some people have objected over closing of gate by the BMO but the decision for closing the gate was in the favour of hospital and patients.
