Srinagar, Feb 5: J&K on Saturday reported 1,606 new Covid cases and 4 related deaths, officials informed.
Out of the total cases Jammu region reported 887 and Kashmir recorded 719 cases.
Two deaths from each region were reported on Saturday.
A health bulletin said 5,019 more Coid-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged from various hospitals including 1,166 from Jammu Division and 3,853 from Kashmir Division.
The bulletin also informed that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported on Saturday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains at 51 across J&K.
Regarding Covid vaccination, the bulletin informed that 39,626 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,07,29,911.
According to the bulletin, Srinagar reported 212 cases, Baramulla 113, Budgam 75 , Pulwama 47, Kupwara 63, Anantnag 86, Bandipora 45, Ganderbal 35, Kulgam 33 while as Shopian 10 fresh cases.
Similarly, Jammu reported 307 cases, Reasi nine cases, Udhampur 46, Rajouri 24, Doda 259, Kathua 24 cases, Samba 94, Poonch 19, Kishtwar 26 while as Ramban 79 fresh cases.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlighted that against the availability of 5,038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 Covid beds, only 413(8.19 per cent) are currently occupied. UNI
