J&K Kho-Kho, Cycling teams to participate in nationals

Jammu, Nov 24: Jammu and Kashmir Kho-Kho and J&K Cycling teams will be taking part in upcoming national events for which the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council on Wednesday conducted screening to finalise the teams.
J&K Kho Kho Association conducted a screening test for the Sub-Junior national championship to be held at Una, Himachal Pradesh from November 27 to December 1.
Players selected from various districts for the championship, including Aakshit Singh, Shivam Raina, Aryan Sharma, Ansh Sharma, Angad Rana, Arjun Raina, Naitik Singh, Satyam Sharma, Jatin Kahotral, Hashaim Waseem.
The handout said that in the girls category, Mansi Devi, Tina Navya, Sakshi Devi, Nancy Devi, Bharati Devi, Shaila Tareen, Avleen Kaur, Muskan Devi, Gaganpreet Kaur, Tahzeen Fayaz.
Meanwhile, the Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir also conducted screening tests for 26th National Road Cycling Championship to be held at Kurukshetra, Haryana from November 25 to 28 in Senior, Junior, and Sub Junior categories.
The cyclists selected for the championship are Mohd. Akbar Khan, Bazil Ahmad Rather, Waheed Ahmad Ganie, Adil Ahmad Teli, Bilal Ahmad Dar, ManavRadha, MoinNabi, Zamin Hassan Mirza, Sunil Kumar, AbhayChoudhary, SahilManzoor, Zaid Rashid, Musaib Bin Rahim, Adnan Bashir, Jahangir Ahmad, Mir Bahjat Nawaz, Zoobiya Tariq, GarahAhad and with officials Om Parkash and Mohd Saleem.
