Rajouri, Nov 8: According to Media Bulletin on Novel Corona Virus, 4441 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours in the Rajouri district, thus bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the district to 7,82,341.
Meanwhile, Enforcement Teams (ETs) fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Friday and have recovered a fine of Rs 24,400 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 61,26,214.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
No positive case of novel Coronavirus has been reported in Rajouri district out of 910 reports received on Monday. There are ten active cases in the district at present.
Out of ten active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, seven in the Army /BSF hospitals while one is in home isolation.
As per the daily bulletin issued by the health department on Monday as many as 4441people above 18 years of age were administered first (158) and second (4283) Covid vaccine doses across the district.
During the first & second waves 6,07,462 tests, including RAT (4,57,96 4) and RT-PCR (1,49,498), have been conducted till Monday in the district & among them, 11282 were tested positive out of which 11035 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
As per the media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4,35,536 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7409were tested active.
