Violation of Covid SOPs, ETs collected Rs 26,900 fine

Rajouri, Oct 29: Out of 1418 reports received on Friday, no Covid positive case was detected in the Rajouri district.

At present, there are 6 active cases in the district, while one Covid patient was recovered today.

Out of six active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, two in the Army (BSF) hospital while two are in home isolation.

On Friday, as many as 2468 people above 18 years of age were administered first (265) and second (2203) Covid vaccine doses across the district.

During the first & second waves 5,95,361 tests, including RAT (4,48,276) and RT-PCR (1,47,085), have been conducted in the district till Thursday among them 11272 were tested positive out of which 11029 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.

As per the District media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4,23,435 people were tested for Covid-virus infection out of which 7399 were tested active out of which 182 died.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Teams (ETs) also fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Friday have recovered a fine of Rs 26,900 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 59,17484.

The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Cente.
