Blame-game between JDA & Revenue department over transfer of land

*Both JDA and Revenue department are at fault as both failed to perform their duties as enshrined in the constitution but only adopted the process to kill the time.
*It is very astonishing part on their part as both the departments are the part of the same administration but not going-on with accordance.

Jammu, Mar 07:
The bone of contention between Jammu Development Authority and Revenue Department is demarcation of land of Khasra number 261, 262, 263, 985 and 985/1 at Paloura as the several people have been encroached the land and having illegal possession over it.
As per the government order the land was handed over to the Jammu Development Authority popularly known as JDA but the then officials posted in JDA and till now, no one has taken interest to get the land retrieved from the encroachers. Not only this, the JDA officials utterly failed to get the land demarcated by the Revenue department and later to take the possession.
The purpose to handover the land to JDA was to make the Jammu city in an objective manner so that there should be symmetrical city besides to any sort of disaster which can be prevented by taking measures like flash-flood in rainy season as often it has been noticed in past that in rainy season there are flash-floods in some areas of the Jammu city as the lack of proper drainage of rain water resulting in floods in street and lastly enters in houses causing big damages.
The revenue department is also hankering for an excuse and it is also equally guilty & culpable and cannot disavow itself from this misdeeds. The Revenue department was also equally responsible for avoiding the demarcation of land as the department when transferred the land then it should be handed over physically but what was holding them back to physical handing over the land to JDA.
The Lt Governor Mr Manoj Sinha must come forward and intervene in this issue to get the physically handed over to JDA and both the departments should held responsible besides official to be taken task who were responsible in this issue.
There is great laxity on the part of Dheeraj Gupta IAS who is at present Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Babila Rakwal KAS Vice Chairperson Jammu Development Authority for not taking interest to get the land physically which was once transferred to JDA once but not handed over physically.
