Memorable Cultural and Scenic Journey!
Jammu, Mar 25: A group of 19 women from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, led by the vibrant Jaishree Krit Patel, are on a nine-day excursion to Jammu & Kashmir, immersing themselves in the region’s natural beauty, rich culture, and renowned hospitality. The group, filled with enthusiasm, embarked on their unforgettable journey on March 17, and their experiences have already left them with cherished memories and a deep appreciation for the enchanting landscapes and warm-hearted locals of the region.
The adventure began on March 17, when the group arrived in Udhampur and immediately set off for the breathtaking beauty of Srinagar. The visiting group stayed in Srinagar from March 17 to March 22, and were awestruck by the serene landscapes, lush greenery, and snow-capped mountains. One of the highlights of their trip was their unforgettable experience on the houseboats of Dal Lake. They reveled in the scenic views of the floating gardens, and many shared that the tranquil waters and unique stay on the houseboat was a dream come true.
“Words cannot describe how beautiful Srinagar is, and staying in the houseboat was the highlight of our trip. It felt like living in a fairy tale,” expressed Jyotsana Patel, one of the visitors.
After savoring the beauty of Srinagar, the group ventured to Pahalgam, where they stayed from March 24 to 25. The serene town, known for its verdant meadows and majestic mountains, gave them another chance to explore the peaceful countryside. They embraced the local culture by displaying in traditional folk dances like Garba and singing their favorite tunes, creating a joyful atmosphere.
“The warmth of the Kashmiri people has made our trip even more special. Their hospitality is unmatched,” said Hemakshi Kothariya, another member of the group. “From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family.”
As their journey reached its final leg, the group arrived in Jammu and checked into Hotel India Pride in Gumat. The group expressed their full satisfaction with the exceptional hospitality and services provided by the hotel staff. “The staff at Hotel India Pride has been incredibly cooperative and hospitable. We’ve felt at home here, and the service has been top-notch. We are all thoroughly impressed,” said Bhamini Patel.
They also noted that they had enjoyed the local cuisine, vibrant marketplaces, and the welcoming atmosphere in every place they visited. They also paid obeisance to Shri raghunath Ji temple in jammu, which is the identity of Jammu. The city’s charm and the warmth of its people left a lasting impression on their hearts. The group plans to visit Jammu & Kashmir again, cherishing the memories and the promise of more adventures.
The group of visitors included a vibrant and diverse set of women: Jyotsana Patel, Hemakshi Kothariya, Jayshree Patel, Bhamini Patel, Amitaben Patel, Hansaben Patel, Ripalben Patel, Jignaben Patel, Jaya Ben Patel, Nainaben Patel, Sudhaben Patel, Kusum Parikh, Arunaben Patel, Kapilaben Patel, Rajeshwari Patel, Indiraben Patel, and Pragna Patel.
Among these 19 remarkable women, Arunaben Patel, the eldest, brought a wealth of experience, while Ripalben Patel, the youngest, added a youthful energy to the group. Together, they represented a perfect blend of wisdom, enthusiasm, and a shared passion for exploring the world.
