Rajouri, Feb 3: The doctors here at Associated Hospital & Government Medical College (AH&GMC) in Rajouri successfully operated on a 110-year-old woman who was bedridden for a long time with a fractured neck of the femur.
Dr. Mehmood Hussain Bajar, Medical Superintendent, AH&GMC said that the fracture neck of the femur was successfully operated by Hemiarthroplasty with bipolar prosthesis by a team of Doctors headed by Dr. Irfan Malik, Assistant professor, Department of Orthopaedics AH&GMC Rajouri .
The patient is recovering & doing well now.
“The surgery was performed free of cost under Ayushman Baharat Sehat Scheme and blood was donated by the Nursing staff of the Hospital,” said Dr. Mehmood Bajar.
