Poonch, April 03, 2025: Strengthening the vital link between law enforcement and the public, senior police officials from Poonch held a significant Police-Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting in the village of Degwar today. Leading the initiative, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) Poonch, Sh. Mohan Sharma, JKPS, accompanied by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters Poonch, Sh. Neeraj Sharma, engaged directly with local residents to address key concerns and foster mutual understanding.
The core objective of the meeting was to build trust and enhance cooperation. Addl SP Mohan Sharma underscored the necessity for villagers to be aware of evolving legal frameworks and emerging threats, emphasizing that a vigilant and informed community is crucial for effective policing.
