Sensex down over 100 points

Mumbai, Sep 27: (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday tumbled down 177.38 points to 65,768.09 in the opening session amid mixed global cues.
The NSE declined 50.55 points to 19,614.15.
The equity market was seen under pressure in the opening session, as selling was seen across the board.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.26 pc and the Small Cap by 0.32 pc.
In 30 scrips, 26 advanced, 5 declined, and one remained unchanged.
The losers were Tech Mahindra by 0.83 pc to Rs 1271.65, Tata Steel by 0.81 pc to Rs 127.80, Bajaj Finance by 0.72 pc to Rs 7814, HDFC Bank by 0.56 pc to Rs 1529, and Nestle India Ltd by 0.55 pc to Rs 22,900.
The gainers were Sun Pharma by 0.80 pc to Rs 1133.75, L&T by 0.39 pc to Rs 2922.55, IndusInd Bank by 0.31 pc to Rs 1427.90, and Reliance Industries by 0.15 pc to Rs 2344.95.
