Heavy rain likely in AP & Yanam in next 24 hours : Met
Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), June 6: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning or gusty winds with speed ranging 30-40 kmph is likely at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and isolated rain is likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 24 hours.
Isolated rain is likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam , South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from June 7 to 10.
The bulletin said, the trough from the cyclonic circulation over East Uttar Pradesh to South Chhattisgarh now runs up to Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 0.9 km above mean sea level across East Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. UNI
