Srinagar, Jan 3: Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 178 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus with no death during the past 24 hours, an official spokesman said.
Out of 178 positive cases 70 were reported from Jammu division and 108 from Kashmir taking the total number of positive cases to 341802.
Moreover, 109 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 19 from Jammu Division and 90 from Kashmir .
The Bulletin on COVID-19 informs that one new case of Mucomycosis or black fungus was reported today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 96,789 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 1,87,72,154.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus, out of 341802 positive cases, 1498 are Active Positive — 559 in Jammu Division and 939 in Kashmir while, 335774 have recovered and 4530 have died so far including 2199 in Jammu division and 2331 in Kashmir.
The Bulletin further said out of 19507227 test results available, 341802 samples have tested positive and 19165425 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 53,923 COVID tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 57 cases, Baramulla reported 14 cases, Budgam reported 11 cases, Pulwama reported 5 cases, Kupwara reported 2 cases, Anantnag reported 4 cases, Bandipora reported 2 cases, Ganderbal reported 8 cases, Kulgam reported 4 cases while as Shopian reported 1 fresh case for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 46 cases, Udhampur reported 6 cases, Doda reported 2 cases, Kathua reported 2 cases, Samba reported 4 cases, Poonch reported 1 case,Reasi reported 5 cases, Ramban reported 4 cases while Kishtwar reported no fresh cases for Monday.
