Victim should lodge complaint: Goa CM on sex scandal

Panaji, Dec 8: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that victim of an alleged sex scandal, in which a minister is allegedly involved, should lodge a complaint with the police.
Speaking to reporters at the state secretariat, he said, “This victim should lodge a complaint with the police if any injustice has been done. I, as the home minister, will order an inquiry into the episode.”
He said he would sack the minister if the charge was proven.
Recently, Goa Congress President Girish Chodankar had alleged that a minister in Dr Sawant’s government had allegedly exploited a woman sexually.
He had given 15 days time to the chief minister to take action against the minister else he would reveal the minister’s name. UNI
