Maha: Thane registers 232 new covid cases

Thane, Oct 12: With the detection of 232 new covid cases in the last 24 hours, the tally in the district has spiked to 5,62,110, the authorities said on Tuesday.
With two more deaths, the death toll has reached 11,435, it said.
The mortality rate was 2.03 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,37,215 while the death toll was 3,278 an official from Palghar said. UNI
