Two accused wanted in murder held in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 6: Delhi Police have arrested two people who were wanted in a murder case while three other accused were also held for their alleged involvement in an attempt to murder case in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. The accused are members of Sonu Dariyapur gang who were allegedly involved in a murder case, police said on Wednesday.
According to police, the cops conducted an operation to curb the firing incidents and selling and use of illegal arms and to curtail the gang war activities in outer- north Delhi area.

Police developed information and conducted raids at various places but the accused were continuously changing their positions. On the basis of specific inputs, a raid was conducted in Dariyapur Kalan and arrested five men, Brijender Kumar Yadav, DCP, outer north Delhi, said.
The accused have been identified as Sunny (23) alias Makoda, Amit Kumar (24) alias Mita , Md. Umar (19), Abdul Razzaq (21) and Abdul Rehman (21).
During the search, three sophisticated pistols with 15 live cartridges were recovered from Sunny and Md Umar.
During interrogation, Amit disclosed his alleged involvement in the firing incident that occurred in Paharganj. He along with Sunny was allegedly found involved in murder case of Narela.
Other three people Md Umar, Abdul Razzaq and Abdul Rehman were found involved in a case of attempt to murder in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut.
During questioning, it is found to be linked with the gangster Sonu Dariyapur who is in Mandoli jail and another gangster Sumit alias Palotra lodged in Bhondsi Jail.
It was revealed that they assembled for committing murder in Rohtak on the directions Sumit, said Yadav. UNI
