119 kanal state land has been retrieved in Marh tehsil
*DC Jammu is working hard to put the department on the right track but the revenue officers of Bhalwal Tehsil are trying to deflate his efforts by allowing land-pimps and land-robbers to rob the land.
*Tehsildar Marh ram Pal Sharma and SDM Marh Nasir Ali both are on job to carry on the reforming mission of DC Jammu.
*They immediately erected the board showing that the land belongs to state and not to any individual.

The officers of Revenue Department in Marh Tehsil have come in action and got 119 kanal state land under Khasra No 1249 Min village Ghoumanasa vacated from the encroachers who were occupying this land for so many years and this has been done due to personal efforts of Tehsildar Marh Ram Pal Sharma and the SDM Marh Nasir Ali, besides overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg.
The Jammu & Kashmir government has decided to get all the state land, common land, Gair Mumkin Khad and other lands vacated from the encroachers who have encroached on the one or other pretext and wreaking loss to state exchequer worth crores of rupees besides disrupting the ecological balance. The team direct under the tehsidlar Marh Ram Pal Sharma and supervised by the SDM Marh has reached on the spot and taken the cognizance of encroachment. The visiting team immediately get the land retrieved from the people. There are reports that some of the people have occupied mistakenly and then the revenue team has demarcated it separated the state land from the land owned by the people.
The anti-encroachment drive was launched by the Deputy Commissioner Jammu and he has categorically asked all the tehsildars and SDMs to take all concrete steps for retrieval of the state land or other common land from the illegal possession of the people. It is important to mention that some land-pimps are active in Jammu and they are befooling the innocent people by selling such land which cannot be transferred on their name and they have to remain in such state that neither they can own the land nor they can leave the land.
The reports said that the retrieval of the 119 kanal state land is the result of Tehsildar Ram pal Sharma personal and honest efforts, who geared up the team and went on mission. His mission was supported by SDM Marh, whereas DC Jammu remained off the screen.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu is doing a tremendous job in the respect of vacation of encroached land but the people of Bhalwal Tehsil are looking towards him for his intervention. The officers of revenue department in concern of Bhalwal Tehsil including concerned SDM are openly supporting the encroachers and it would not be wrong to say that they have surrendered themselves to the land-pimps and reason they better know. The money power can be one of the aspects for surrendering before the land-pimps and land robbers. Now it is DC Jammu must turn his eyes to Bhalwal Tehsil so that the most corrupt Revenue Officers of tehsil Bhalwal may be taught a lesson for defying the DC Jammu order and directions.
