JDA has to be proactive!
- Now there is no excuse for JDA over the land measuring 36 kanals and 15 marlas falling under khasra No 236 at Paloura village.
- In case there is any sought of encroachment of the said land then it amounts that JDA itself has supported the encroachers to encroach.

Jammu, Apr 21: Why is the Tehsildar Zone A/B Jammu Development Authority so callous to take the possession of land measuring 36 kanals and 15 marlas falling under Khasra No 263 in village Paloura, tehsil Jammu North? Why is the Tehsildar Zone A/B Jammu Development Authority indirectly allowing the encroachers to encroach the JDA land? Why is not the Tehsildar Zone A/B Jammu Development Authority proactive to save the property of JDA? These are very serious concerns to be considered by Vice Chairman and the land in question be saved from the clutches of land-robbers.
The land in question was rolling between Revenue department and JDA and there was no taker to take the said land. The Tehsildar Zone A/B JDA has shot a letter vide office letter No JDA/Teh-A/2224-29 dated 14-03-2022 to Tehsildar Jammu North of revenue department to demarcate the said land so that JDA may take the possession of the land. The Tehsildar Jammu North immediately swung into action and got the land demarcated, besides handed over to JDA.
Now the question arises that why the JDA is not taking the issue of 36kanal and 15 marlas seriously as the encroachers are still there and they are ready to take over it. The dilly-delaying police of Tehsildar Zone A/B JDA indicates that there is something fishy and there is some hidden agenda be pushed by someone who is powerful or sitting in JDA.
The land measuring 36 kanals and 15 marlas falling under Khasra Ni 263 has been handed over to the JDA and now it is in the direct control of JDA and other department has nothing to do anything. The JDA must be proactive to avoid any sort of encroachment in future or illegal construction which later will create problem and be demolished, if not taken seriously at present.
