Not suspension but termination is needed!
- It is biggest embarrassment for SHO, ASI and Munshi being suspended for supporting the rapist of minor girl for some money and it is biggest curse for them.
- The Lt Governor must terminate the suspended SHO, ASI and Munshi with immediate effect and also book trio under POSCO for felicitating the rapist. This is tight case to set a precedent so that in future no person will repeat the same.
- The SDPO has been removed by the DG vide order No Gz/G-08/Trans/DYSP/21/2022 dated 21-04-202, which is a curse for SDPO too.

Jammu, Apr 21: Is suspension of SHO, ASI and munshi of Police Station Vijaypur sufficient and deliver justice to rape victim, who is still minor? Is not termination of SHO, ASI and munshi warranted in this case? Why has the then SHO Police Station Vijaypur refused to register FIR against the rapist? What has forced the then SHO Police Station Vijay to deny for registration of FIR in minor rape case? How much money has been pumped to hush-up the case? Which force was behind the rapist that has forced the SHO not to register the FIR in this heinous crime? These are very serious concerns to be discussed seriously as the image and prestige of police on stake. The Crime Branch has taken the cognizance of the serious offence and had taken the case in their hands and get FIR registered in the Vijaypur Police Station but Crime Branch will investigate.
The issue is very serious that one accused rapist namely Shami @ Sandheer resident of Nathwal tehsil Vijaypur has raped a teenager girl of 12 years, when she was sleeping in other room. Her father Shami Kumar who is deaf and dumb was also sleeping in other room with his 11 years son and the mother of the rape victim was in her friend house. The victim girl on 17-04-2022 at in between 0230 to 0300 hours has rung her mother and narrated the woeful story while weeping. The mother reached the home and saw that her daughter is crying and her clothes were blood stained.
The mother rushed to the concerned Police Station with a hope that the police will help her and immediately nab the accused but everything went contrary. The police especially SHO, one ASI and munshi turned to be inhuman and they forced the mother of victim to give in writing that she has withdrawn the case and let the rape accused go free.
But the Crime Branch under the wise guidance of SSP Rajeshwar Singh has come to know about the heinous crime and immediately intervened in the case and met with the victim family. The officials of Crime Branch has taken the victim family to the concern police station and asked them to register FIR.
During the brief enquiry it has surfaced that SHO and other police officials have forced the mother of rape victim to give in writing that she had withdrawn the case on her own will as they do not want to process the case further. With the intervention of Crime Branch the case under FIR no 55/2022 dated 20-04-2022 under sections 376/323/506 IPC, ¾ POSCO Act registered against the culprit.
When the case got highlighted the higher authority has attached the concerned SDPO and deployed Priyanka Kumari to hold the charge as SDPO Vijaypur till further orders, meanwhile they suspended the SHO, ASI and Munshi of Police Station Vijaypur, which is biggest embarrassment for the suspended police officials, The issue is that how they will face their own family members as the family members of suspended police officials surely cursing them and terming them as inhuman persons.
The suspension is not embarrassment for them but facing their family members would be biggest embarrassment for them. The other police officers must learn lesson from this episode that greed of money will throw them do low that they cannot stand before their own family members.
