Akhnoor, Nov 14: The Intramural Athletic Competitions of C-DYTE centre Gurha Brahmana, Block-Akhnoor were conducted on 14.11.2021 at playground of Panchayat-Gurha Brahmana, Block-Akhnoor under the chairmanship of Sh Anshul Garg Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and under the overall supervision of Smt. Navneet Mann(IAS) Sub Divisional Magistrate, Akhnoor Nodal Officer of the centre.
The competitions were organised by the Block Development Office, Akhnoor in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services And Sports, Zone Akhnoor under the supervision of Smt. Rupinder Kaur Block Development Officer, Akhnoor and Sh. Tarsem Singh Zonal Physical Education Officer, Akhnoor.
SDM Akhnoor was the chief guest and District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu was the guest of honour in the occasion.
35 Boys & 30 Girls Athletes participated in the competitions under the able guidance of Sh. Vikas Sharma Incharge of the centre.
The officials of YS&S Dept. started the meet with a series of individual and group events including 200 mtr, 400 mtr, 800 mtr, 1600mtr ,3000mtr, 4X100 Relay race, Long Jump and ended it with 100 mts racing heat events for boys and girls.
Prominents among the others were Sh. Surinder Singh Tehsildar Akhnoor,Smt Leela Devi Sarpanch Panchayat-Gurha Brahmana West, Naib Sarpanch Sh. Rattan Lal Sharma,Sh Yash Paul and all officials of YS&S Dept.
