Rajouri, Nov 12: Four positive cases of a novel Coronavirus have been reported in Rajouri district out of 1972 reports received on Friday. There are nine active cases in the district at present while no patient was recovered today.
After a long time, four positive cases have been detected in the district, including three persons who are locals and one BSF constable who came from outside the district.
Out of nine active Covid cases, two patients are under treatment in GMC&AH at Rajouri, two in the Army /BSF hospital and five are in home isolation.
As per the daily bulletin issued by the health department on Friday, as many as 5853 people above 18 years of age were administered first (202) and second (5651) Covid vaccine doses across the district.
According to Media Bulletin on Novel Corona Virus, 6662 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours in the Rajouri district, thus bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the district to 8,05,327.
During the first & second waves 6,15,556 tests, including RAT (4,64,692)and RT-PCR (1,50,864) have been conducted till Friday in the district & among them, 11288 were tested positive out of which 11042 have recovered while 237 died including 182 during the second wave.
As per the media bulletin during the second wave of Covid pandemic, 4, 43,735 people have been tested for Covid-virus infection to date, out of which 7415 were tested active
Enforcement Teams (ETs) fined scores of violators of Covid-19 SOPs on Friday and have recovered a fine of Rs 31,900 taking the total amount fined since April 1 to Rs 62,31,284.
The Enforcement officers urged the people to wear face masks and maintain physical distance besides taking Covid vaccination doses at their nearest Covid Vaccination Center.
